3-Day CHMM Review Course
The Wisconsin CHMM Chapter is offering the Essentials of Hazardous Materials
Management Course in a condensed 3-day course format in Sturtevant. This
course provides a comprehensive environmental overview, professional
continuing educational credits and preparation for the CHMM examination. The
course will be held Wednesday, Thursday and Friday – July 9, 10 & 11, 2008.

Southcentral WI Chapter Meeting
Kewaunee Power Station Presentation
The
meeting will be held at 2:30 pm, Kewaunee Power Station, N490 Highway
42, Kewaunee, WI. Ted Maloney, Senior Environmental Compliance
Coordinator, will give a presentation consisting of the environmental
responsibilities and basic operation of the Kewaunee Power Station, plus
a company overview of Dominion. For security reasons, our tour will be
limited to the Training Building where the meeting will take place.

Southeast WI Chapter Meeting
Racine North Beach Project Presentation and
Tour
The meeting will begin at
3:00 pm at the Racine City Hall,
730 Washington Avenue, Racine. A short chapter meeting
will precede a presentation by Dr. Julie Kinzelman of
the Racine North Beach Project, an FET
Governor’s Award Winner for 2008.
Weather permitting, a tour will follow at the
North Beach Oasis, 100 Kewaunee Street, Racine, where Dr. Kinzelman will
highlight some of the mitigation measures which contributed to the
