Employment Desired

Water Quality Technician graduate seeks employment in Southeastern Wisconsin. DNR Operator Certified for Laboratory (subclass J) and Bachelors Degree. As an intern I performed such tasks as calibrating dissolved oxygen meters and pH probes, using buffering agents and utilized spectrophotometers in analyses for chlorine, fluoride, biochemical oxygen demand and total suspended solids. In addition I worked almost eleven years on Alaskan Crab fishing vessels in the Bering Sea as a Shellfish Observer with the Alaska Department of Fish & Game. The job entailed recording information on fishing effort and locations, sampling to determine species composition, measuring the crab species, estimating their shell age, examining their egg condition, when applicable, and other critical biological data, as well as monitoring compliance with regulations and taking detailed field notes. I am originally from this area and with my new family I am hoping to get a start into my new career path. Stability is more important than upward mobility for me.
