2008 FET Environmental Scholarships Awarded
The Federation of Environmental Technologists continues the fine tradition of offering Scholarships to students pursuing a degree in an Environmental Field related to the management and prevention of air, water, and solid/hazardous waste pollution. Five Scholarships were given at our annual Environment Conference in March.
The first annual ALAN HAASE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP was given to K.G. Thishan Dharshana of UW-Milwaukee, and the GENE MATSUMOTO MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP was awarded to Zach Zopp of UW-Green Bay. Three additional FET Scholarships were given to: Taylor Crist of UW-Eau Claire, Rebecca Fellabaum of Milwaukee Area Technical College, and Rachel Frank of Milwaukee Area Technical College. We welcome these students as our newest members of FET, and congratulate them on their academic success!

Congratulations to all the Recipients, and a big Thank You to the generous donors to the FET Scholarship Fund who made this year’s awards possible.
