During the 1980s, business and industry found if necessary to address an increasingly complex arena of State and Federal environmental regulations. Keeping abreast of these ever-changing regulatory requirements has been a constant challenge for the conscientious environmental professional, and has continued to be in the 21st century. This continued growth in environmental regulations has fostered the need for a sound professional organization to better address the need for current information and education.
