Integrating Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Regulation into Environmental Compliance Programs

This seminar will give environmental professionals the opportunity to hear the latest developments about greenhouse gas (GHG) legislation, EPA’s regulatory approach including control technology development, and how corporations in the Midwest can plan to address and reduce GHG emissions. The program will end with a roundtable discussion where speakers and attendees can dialogue further on GHG and other air quality compliance issues.

Wastewater Issues – The Cost of Complianc

The full day seminar will focus on new wastewater developments, including the newly emerging Wisconsin phosphorus regulations, thermal discharges, industrial pre-treatment, and safety and health considerations, etc. Costs of compliance with wastewater regulations will be addressed at the seminar. A Miller-Coors Milwaukee case study and wastewater fundamentals will also be discussed.


FET Pre-Conference Professional Development Courses

Environmental, Health & Safety Primer: This course will provide a general understanding and update of environmental regulations and management. All major regulatory areas will be covered. It is highly recommended for individuals new to the environmental field, especially those with regulatory responsibilities.

Sustainability and Supply Chain Requirements: This course will provide important information on setting up a sustainability policy within your organization and the consideration required to ensure its success.

COMM10 Tanks Update: This course will discuss the revised COMM10 tank regulations and help attendees understand compliance requirements.

Wisconsin Air Permitting: This course will cover the the current and emerging issues faced by facilities with Operation Permits and those applying for permits to construct or modify.

Basic Health & Safety Compliance: This course will provide newly assigned health & safety coordinators and seasoned professionals an opportunity to review the basics of health and safety compliance in an industrial setting plus look at what is happening in regulation and enforcement at OSHA.
